Just like any agricultural crop, each coffee growing region has a season for its crop. And when you work with smaller lots of specialty coffees as we do, these coffees have an ebb and flow.

Flowing in now is a new coffee from Burundi, as well as a decaffeinated Ethiopian Sidamo. These will be replacing our current Burundi: Bwayi Lot 2, and Decaf Sumatra. Also coming into the the mix is a new coffee from the Boquete region of Panama and the current year crop of our El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve coffee from Chiapas, Mexico.

Exciting stuff! Cupping notes and full descriptions now available online!

Use your cell phone and buy via text message using Venmo. It’s quick, easy, secure…and free! All you need is a cell phone with text messaging capability and a credit or debit card.

Here’s how it works:

  • Start a text message to 646-863-9557 (Venmo’s number)
  • Type: pay redrover [total price] for [quantity and item], e.g., pay redrover 10.50 for 1 sumatra and send your message.
  • You’ll immediately receive a text message response telling you to expect an automated call.
  • When you receive the call moments later you will be prompted to enter your card information.
  • And that’s all there is to it!

You use it as a one-time option, or choose to set up an account to make the process even quicker the next time (no phone call!). And it’s not just for buying Red Rover Coffee (though we think it’s a pretty good one)—use it to split a dinner check with friends! Think of the possibilities…

First Thursday at the Falls

Last modified on 2010-03-26 03:25:13 GMT. 0 comments. Top.

First Thursday at the Falls in Rollinsford follows a growing movement in communities throughout the country. What started as a “gallery walk” is now transformed here on the Seacoast as a venue for not only artists, but local artisans and small businesses to share their craft with the communities in which they live and work.

Housed in the Lower Mill at Salmon Falls and along Front Street in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, the members of this diverse artist/artisan community open their doors during the First Thursday evening of every month from 6pm-9pm to showcase and demonstrate their work.

So why the First Thursday? Sometimes you just need to step out during the week when Friday just seems like it will never come. The First Thursday makes it easy to remember.

Now you have the perfect excuse. So put it in your calendar. Right now. We’d wager you might just find this to be the most memorable evening each month!
